From the Tampa Tribune:

Karen L. was skeptical about whether acupuncture could stop her chronic migraine headaches.  Karen L. is 42.  Her recurring headaches began at age 15.  “I’ve tried nearly everything” for relief, she says, including heavy-duty medications and even experimental surgery that cut nerve endings near her hairline.

In September, she turned to acupuncture at the Brandon office of acupuncturists Guillermo Caceres and Su Ho.

Using principles of Chinese medicine, Caceres and Ho examined the subtleties of her pulse and appearance of her tongue to understand how her body was working.   At first, she went for twice-weekly treatments, then once a week. The headaches stopped after five or six sessions. “So far it’s stayed that way, and I’m not on any medication,”, Karen L. says.  “I can’t tell you how floored I am!”
